Meet Eliana Ciao, known on Instagram as Eliana The Italiana. Originally from Italy, Eliana first moved to the US in 1992, and after a second move in 2015, she settled in the Florida Panhandle.

Eliana is renowned for her signature cocktails, and I experienced her creativity firsthand at several local events. Her gin cocktail completely changed my opinion on gin—I wasn’t a fan before, but her mixology skills won me over. Impressed by her passion and showmanship, I knew she had to be part of this vibrant community.

I recently had the pleasure of sitting down with Eliana at Vibe Vegan Bistro. Chef Amy, the owner and a good friend of Eliana, graciously kept the bistro open just for us. Over a decadent vegan mocha cupcake, which was a delight for my dairy intolerance, we had a wonderful conversation about Eliana’s journey and her craft.

In 2021, Eliana decided to pivot from her previous career and pursue her passion by launching her own business focused on creating unforgettable experiences for events, festivals, parties, and weddings. With a restored vintage horse trailer, her supportive husband, and a drive to craft exceptional cocktails, the Tipsy Mule Bar was born!
